OSTRELLA! Stockholm may or may not have been invaded by giant cheese rings this fine summer. My insta movies do little to lift the fog of cheese war. Fun fact: Referred to as "Fake Out-of-Home adverts", this kind of films have become part of many marketing conversations lately.

ETT SISTA RACE! Film logotype, title sequence and clever animated maps for Swedish blockbuster Ett Sista Race, directed by Edward af Sillén.

NEW WORK:

VIKING LINE! Since 2020, advertising  virtuoso Hans Brindfors has re-built the iconic Swedish ferry line Viking Line brand, clarifying its offering to the cruising public. During this period Nordbeck has worked as creative developer, designer and animator on all campaigns to help realise Brindfors' vision. We love Viking!

KARL-BERTIL JONSSONS JULAFTON! Nostalgic titles and animation by Nordbeck for director Hannes Holm's sweet re-telling of a Swedish  Christmas classic written by Tage Danielsson, starring Jonas Karlsson. Six napkin rings of Japanese pear wood, anyone?

2022 WORK:

DIORAMA! Tuva Novotny's awesome film exploring  relationships and biology. Nordbeck was invited to pitch in ideas, design and animation into this rich mix, from props and costume to VFX, typography and spectrographic studies of oxytocin, the substance of love.

2021 WORK:

NO TIME TO DIE! But ample time to join the crew at Blind Ltd to design and animate screens for James Bond No Time to Die. My brief was to design and animate Q's computer screens for a presentation of Herocles, MI6 killer nanobots. Creative Director Andrew Booth. A Blind Ltd project.

2019 WORK:

BRITT-MARIE WAS HERE! Pernille August stars in this lovely thoughtful film about a divorcee navigating her dreams through amateur football. Cute title sequence by Nordbeck.

ADVOKATEN: Logo and titles design for a dark scandi crime series based on Jens Lapidus bestselling books. 

2020-2021 WORK:

STOCKHOLM QUALITY OUTLET! At this sprawling West Stockholm shopping mall, you never quite know what you'll find. TV commercials, ideas, design and animation by Nordbeck.

2019 WORK:

KINGSMAN! I designed and animated a large part of the graphics and UI elements of this delightfully bonkers show. Creative Director Andrew Booth @ Blind, Graphics and animation Nordbeck and others. A Blind Ltd project.

2019 WORK:

INGKA CENTRES! I love animated explainers. I enjoy guiding the viewers' minds through a story using minimal elements of graphics and text. Here is an example, this one for IKEA's international shopping centre business INGKA. Creative Director Patrick Hammarsten. A  Format Studios project.

2009 WORK:

HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE  I directed and designed this title sequence inspired by Dumbledore's font of memories. Amazing shoot with great big aquariums full of all sorts of liquids, ink squirting everywhere! Great VFX work by Gideon Prins among others. A Foreign Office Design Ltd project.

2006 WORK:

CHILDREN OF MEN: Old project but one that I'm very proud of. Working with our fantastic team at Foreign Office Design Ltd, Sonia Alcón, Matteo Manzini, Gideon Prins, Sean Simone and Anthony Bluff, we dreamed up a bunch of media content for a dystopian world without children. A close and fascinating cooperation with Oscar-winning director Alfonso Cuarón.
